Honoring Veterans Day & Family Thank You

November 19th, 2020

On Veterans Day, Inver Glen Senior Living and St. Croix Hospice made sure to recognize, honor, and thank all the brave men and women who served our country. Mickey D., a family member of one of our residents, kindly donated a quilt for a random drawing. Thank you so much, Mickey, and congratulations to Inver Glen’s Richard C. on his new patriotic quilt!

Inver Glen Senior Living received a very kind and thoughtful letter of gratitude from the granddaughter of one of our residents:

“I want to thank you so much for all you are doing to keep the residents at Inver Glen safe and for providing us with updates. Like many people in the country, we are experiencing difficult and challenging times. However, for you and your staff, these challenges are greater than most of us can imagine.

The efforts the Inver Glen team continues making to keep everyone in the community safe, including themselves, while trying to balance the importance of each person’s family and friends, does not go unnoticed by our family.

We especially appreciate your efforts to keep love and a sense of family present in our grandmother’s life while we can’t physically be there. We both understand and respect the choices you must make during these times, and for your staff to go above and beyond for your residents ensures our (very social) grandma is supported.

Thank you to the associates who have cared for her, checked on her, Facetimed with her, made her special books, and shared pictures of our family with her while we are not able to. On behalf of our family, we can’t tell you how thankful and appreciative we are for all that you do every day for our loved ones. Stay well!” -Amber M.

At Inver Glen, we take pride in focusing on the health and well-being of every resident, every day. We’re so happy to hear when it shows and couldn’t be more proud of our dedicated, compassionate associates. Thank you so much for the heartwarming letter, Amber!
